Extraordinary Giving / Offering
Pastor Wilson
Give wholehearted worship to God and let him transform our ordinary offerings into extraordinary ones
1 Samuel 1:2-11
#1 Hannah was barren (v2)
#2 Elkanah demonstrated unwavering love for Hannah (v5)
#3 Peninah was relentless in her provocation (v7)
It's time to let go to let God bring relief and deliverance
#5 God remembered Hannah (v19) #6 Hannah gave birth to Samuel (v20)
God's divine timing in answering Hannah's prayer. It is not Hannah's perfect timing
When it's God's time, He will intervene. We must have the confidence where He knows what is the best for us
#7 Elkanah did not nullify Hannah's vow (v23)
Why Hannah had an amazing faith?
1. She immediately gave Samuel to the lord after he was weaned
2. She gave Samuel to the lord in an ungodly environment. Her promise to God was not conditioned in a negative environment
God did not shortchange Hannah after she gave and dedicated Samuel. The lord gave her 5 more children. Our God does not shortchange us
Samuel was not just for Hannah. Samuel was for God's greater purpose in His kingdom
May we never be afraid to release the "Samuels" in our lives to God
There will never be a good time to surrender your "samuels" to God, because there will always be good reasons and excuses to hold back the giving to God
