Give Me Jesus; His Strength is All I Need

“Many of those who once were so passionately in love with Christ now run about pursuing their own interests. They’re burdened down with stress and problems, chasing after riches and the things of this world.”
- David Wilkerson -
“True leadership is tested and proved in crises. The real leader is the one who can handle the stress. He is the one who can solve the problems, bear the burdens, find the solutions, and win the victories when everyone else is merely flustered, confounded, and perplexed.”
~ John MacArthur -
“Since God intends to make you like Jesus, he will take you through the same experiences Jesus went through. That includes loneliness, temptation, stress, criticism, rejection, and many other problems.”

“In almost everything that touches our everyday life on earth, God is pleased when we’re pleased. He wills that we be as free as birds to soar and sing our maker’s praise without anxiety [stress].”

“An unpeaceful mind cannot operate normally. Hence the Apostle teaches us to “have no anxiety [stress] about anything” (Phil. 4:6). Deliver all anxious thoughts to God as soon as they arise. Let the peace of God maintain your heart and mind (v. 7)."

“Like Joseph, we can overcome the difficulties in life to come up higher and fulfill His purposes for our lives. This first involves the acknowledgement that nothing happens by accident; and also the ability to see that God remains with us through the bad times. Finally, rather than be bitter over the challenges faced in life, we must recognise the events of life from God's sovereignty, and forgive the wrongdoings, hurts, and injustice done to us to come up higher in the everlasting joy and peace.

Learn to pray “God, this is beyond me. Let me bring you into my situation"
During heated quarrel, argument or dispute, in anger, pray in the Spirit. Whether is is one party or both. Go into speaking in tongues warfare instead of directing hurtful words towards each other. Something happens when we pray in tongues during a quarrel, argument, dispute or anger. We allow the Holy Spirit to intervene. Remember satan is most happy when he sees discord in a Christian family. When a Christian family fall apart, 2 ambassadors are lost. And for some, the children are affected forever in their life's journey.
