- We speak God's truth into the situation, not speak our own truth into the situation


- The more you fail, all the more you need to search for God, break the negative chain of thoughts.


- Our hearts is deceitful and desperately wicked


- Be careful what you listen and put in your heart, some comments from even parents, teachers, tutor, spouse etc may be negative and they mean well. However, you may hold it till you're old and thinking it's truth in your life. Rebuke! cause we only speak God's truth into our lives!


- If there are sins in our lives, we'll allow it to distort our lives

(1) Focus on His faithfulness, not our flaws. Flaws can blur our vision
eg. Ruth, Elizabeth, Samaritan woman, Sarah

(2) Love God by loving family

(3) Trust God, He fights for you. Patience is part of trusting God

(4) Whatever you do, you represent God

- We depend on the strength of the Lord, not our own strength
- Listen objectively, don't be judgemental
- Clarify up misunderstanding through communication
- Teach children to make decision, don't make decision for them
- Once we do our best, leave the result to God
- God is faithful, Great is His faithfulness

Because of physological and biological madeup, women tends to be more emotional, anxious, anger, depress etc than men

Men think more on left brain (logical, realistic etc)
Women think more on both side of brain (family, emotions, soulish, logical, realistic etc)

- Learn to wait upon the Lord and rest through patience

ANT (Automatically Negative Thinking)
- We must surrender our ANT to God, know our basic contentment is in heaven above

Your teenage children need you to listen to them, not tell them what is right for them. Although most of the time we're right

(b) Compare vertically w God instead of our surrounding (James 4:6)
(c) Repentance is submission to God (James 4:7)
(d) Repentance is resisting the devil (James 4:7)

- When I resist the devil (temptation/addiction), devil will run from me

(e) Repentance is drawing near to God (James 4:8)

- Tower of Babel, getting to God through pride
- We choose to overcome temptation or addiction through pride
- Pride ~ Our own strength

(f) Repentance is inward and outward cleansing (James 4:8)
(g) Repentance is Godly mourning (James 4:9)

- We are in this world but not part of this world
- Our full joy is in heaven not here
- When we laugh with the world, be wary we are moving into the world

- I am raised with Christ (Colossians 3:1)
- Set my heart and mind on things above (Colossians 3:1-2)

- Hidden in Christ is God's supremacy in our smallest (John 15:4-5)
