Wisdom from James

By Pastor Benny Ho
We can have the knowledge to achieve all the goals we want to set, but at the end of the day we really need wisdom to really understand the true nature of things. We don't just need knowledge but we need God's wisdom to know how to put knowledge to good use. True wisdom is rooted in a life of humility, it's rooted in a way we live. By good deeds done in the life of humility. A person can see things but yet not understand the true nature of things. We can look at a situation and knows what's going on there, but we may not have the wisdom to see the true nature of what's going on. Men of wisdom have the insight, to see beyond, to see the true nature of things. God's wisdom is always pure but when God's wisdom is pass through a tainted heart, that wisdom will be corrupted. The problem is human heart. Even a prophetic word from God can be pure and good and right, but if it passes through a heart that is wounded, it comes out the other end with a wrong spirit. Soulish wisdom comes with Bitter envy, Selfish ambitions, Deceit and Boasting. All these attitudes are the ones that caused relationships to mess up, caused confusion (disorder or chaos at every evil practice) and trouble according to James 3:16. God's wisdom is always Pure, Peaceloving, Considerate, Submissive, Full of Mercy and good fruit, Impartial, Sincere according to James 3:17. People get along when we exercise true wisdom, helps people to get along. The root is always rooted in God, and the heart that is pure, and therefore out come the life of humility.

Earthly (human, carnal or mankind idea) -> Unspiritual (soulish because human defends the idea) -> Demonic (of the devil, infiltrated with evil, heresy)
